Information We Collect We collect information you provide directly (such as your name and email address) when you create an account, usage data, and location data (only when you grant permission). We do not collect your precise location history. 2. How We Use Your Information • To provide and personalize the app experience • To show nearby places, events, businesses, and recommendations • To generate AI-powered recommendations, travel plans, and other personalized results after you consent • To send support communications and service updates • We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties. 3. Location Information If you choose to provide location access or manually select a location, Social Genie AI may use that information to show nearby places, events, businesses, and recommendations. When you voluntarily use an AI-powered feature and have consented to AI processing, relevant location information may also be included as context to generate your requested AI response. Location is only accessed when you are actively using the app. 4. AI-Powered Features When you choose to use an AI-powered feature, the information you enter, such as questions, preferences, travel requests, or other prompts, may be processed by a third-party AI service in order to generate your requested response. Where relevant to the feature you are using, your selected or current location may also be included in the request. Social Genie AI asks for your consent before information is sent to a third-party AI service for AI-powered processing. We use this information only to provide the requested feature and related app functionality. We do not make claims about how long the third-party AI provider retains, trains on, anonymizes, or deletes this information unless separately verified by the service configuration. 5. Third-Party Service Providers Social Genie AI uses third-party services to power certain features, including a third-party AI service for AI-powered generation, Google Places for place data, and mapping/booking services. Each provider is bound by its own privacy and data-handling practices, which govern any information they receive when you use those features. 6. Data Sharing We share information with these third-party service providers only as needed to provide the feature you requested (for example, sending your prompt and relevant location to the AI service to generate a response). We do not sell personal data to advertisers. 7. Data Retention and Account Deletion Account data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your saved places, saved itineraries, preferences, and subscription records associated with your account. 8. Security We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for data in transit and follow best practices to protect your data at rest. 9. Children's Privacy Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. 10.
